Question How inportant is a second cco cover?

M I gonna kick myself in the butt if I only have one Cco cover?

I've only had one, and never removed it. Do you find you have a spitter? Do you wash your covers often? If so, get a second. If not, keep your money.

She has asthma and occasionally throws up from coughing but it hasn't happened in her seats yet... Will cool mint be impossible to find in a few years?

I don't even think you can get Cool Mint from Combi anymore, only second hand. That being said I've got a total of 3 covers. Two Cherry Pie and one Strawberry shake. I'm waiting till the new colors come out but I may end up buying a second CCO.

Yeah, Cool Mint, Strawberry Shake, and one of the browns were discontinued.

My CCOs seems to show EVERYTHING. I have strawberry shake, keylime, 2 carrot cake and cool mint and every one of them is light colored where the child sits so fuzzing and little dirt spots are ALWAYS showing up. I'm thankful I have extra covers.

Really? When I called combi about getting a 2nd CCO cover I was told all colors stayed the sae this year.

Car Sest Blog said something about new colors in 2012 in their post about Combi at the ABC Expo.

Is the seat being used for a walker? or just a nonmobile infant?

A lot of the covers ARE light, but if your baby isn't going to walk to/from the car/store/school etc then her feet wont get dirty and her seat wont either. I only ever had 1 Cool Mint which i used for several months before falling out of love with it (stupid install in my car!!) but since my son was under 1 during this whole time the cover was perfect. He had one "diaper" accident (which was minor and he was EBF) so i did wash it and it came right out with no issues.

In the reverse i think i would take my child's shoes off if they were walking and riding in a CCO full time.... because i bet it would show dirt quite a bit after a while. I probably still wouldn't get a spare cover though - I'm not a big spare cover person..... i would rather spend my extra $$ on something else

Well, I have 4 covers for 2 MA's. I considered selling them because I really prefer the two that I keep on the seats. And then I had to ride around the block with a kid in a puke covered seat. Uh, nope. Not a fan of that. I'm keeping my extra covers.

I have two covers for my Coccoro (I once had as many as four). They do tend to show dirt easily.

DD had a huge diaper blow-out while we were on vacation, and we didn't have an extra cover with us. I washed the cover and let it dry overnight. In the morning I threw it in the dryer for a bit just to finish it off. That worked fine.

So do you NEED another cover? Probably not. But they're cheap enough that it sort of makes sense to have an extra if you can.
