Harness check?

Can someone look at this for me? DS is 3 weeks, 22" and 9lbs. When the harness is in the lowest position, when I tighten the straps, they like to slide off his shoulders. So I put the harness to the middle position. Does this look like its "at" his shoulders, or is it too high? It's a KF30 by the way. Thank you!

I'm not seeing a picture.

But generally if the straps are sliding off the shoulders and the next slot up is just at I'll move them up. (and with one of our seats the next slot up was very slightly above, but I'd rather have that than straps sliding off the shoulders).

ETA - see them now. I'd leave them up. Did you feel where the actual slot in the seat is, it looks like the slot in the cover might be higher than the slot in the carseat.

You're right! The cover slot is higher than the actual slot. It's definitely right at his shoulder.

Those look to be right at his shoulders. If they are sliding off in the next slot down then you did the right thing by moving up.

He is such a cutie!!
I'd leave the straps but once he reaches 11lbs the infant insert needs to be removed and might affect the fit and where the harness is!

He's 9lbs but I did go back and take out the insert, so I had to move the harness back to the first slot. He looks so tiny in it now, lol.
