Scenara vs. Tribute

I'm looking to get an inexpensive seat to keep at my mother-in-laws. We visit a 3-4x a year and I don't want to have to fly with mine every time.

Right now, I'm deciding between the Scenara and the Tribute. Which do you prefer? Also, what is the difference between the Tribute Sport and Tribute 5?

My daughter will be 8 months the first time we use the seat. Right now she is 6.5 months, 15 pounds, 26 inches. The seat will be in either a Jeep Liberty or Toyota Rav4.

Do you know the FAA recommends a carseat for every child under 40 pounds, and specifically does not recommend lap babies? It's far less safe.

I'd get either one of those (it's about 50/50 who prefers which), and then travel WITH it, not leave it there.

I agree with Wendy. I would take her seat on the plane and use it. I would also purchase her a seat on the plane.
