Rxt pics and questions?

So my mom decided to help us out and purchase DDs rxt!!!!!!! it's here and I'm beaming with excitement but after opening it I realize how much I have to learn ! It's a complex seat to me at least but I took some photos for opinions !

How does she look without the infant padding? And can you tell where the straps are coming from in the pic if so are they too far below the shoulder?

Looks good to me. I think the straps are just right.

I think she looks good but I'd move the chest clip down a bit. Looks a little too high. You want it at armpit/nipple level.

Thanks everyone! Now that I have installed it I have another ? Me and DH can't figure out the latch connectors no matter how hard you push they don't lock on or click rather??? Any ideas what were doing wrong ?

Did you push the red button before trying to attach them?

Yes they were depressed already I couldn't move the buttons at all ? I'll try again and maybe get a photo.

i have a radian 80sl and the latch doesn't make an audible click, i started a thread here about it, people here said it's ok, i am not sure if that's what are talking about?

If you have the red button pushed in, the connectors should engage when the 'teeth' hit the latch anchor.

I hope your seat is ok. I've taken a RN out of the box to find one connector completely jammed and unusable.

I'm sorry I'm just seeing this we still haven't figured it out maybe I should call would you call just kids store or diono?

I would call Diono.

If the button is pushed in then when you push the connector into the LATCH anchor it will engage and lock on. There typically isn't a click sound.

Holding my 4.5yr old ds Patrick when we saw Phia's pic and he said "awwww, isn't she cute?"!!!!!!!!!!!!! And he's right, she's adorable! And I love her new seat.
