Specifically for DD.
DS will be wearing a sweater I got from the Gymboree outlet. (See attachment.) He'll be wearing it with a button-down under, and khaki pants.
DD is currently in a size 7 but she's got that lanky look going on where she seems to not look right in younger clothing (like jumpers) but some of the stuff out there in a 7 is a bit too grown-up looking for her. Make sense?
Anyway, I had my eye on this Gymboree dress figuring she could use it again on Valentine's Day, but now it's sold out online (I will be looking in-store tonight, though). [I'm not ready to buy it on eBay yet, out of principle.)
I don't know what other options there are. Here's the specifics/ideals:
1) No turtlenecks, ruffles at the collar or on the wrists. She hates those things.
2) Long-sleeves.
3) I'd like it to not be Christmas-specific, but to be Christmas colors (navy, red, green, brown, etc.)
4) Coordinate with DS's sweater.
5) Not super-fancy, as we really don't do much for Christmas, and comfort is important.
If this skirt goes on sale (and can be stacked with a coupon), it's a possibility, but no idea for a sweater/top to go with it.
Something tells me a brown jumper with a red long-sleeve might go well with DS's sweater/outfit, but I can't decide if DD looks too tall/old for jumpers.
