Identify carseat?

Sorry, no picture...

Wondering if anyone can identify the carseat I will describe.

I saw it in a car on the freeway today, so I didn't get a great view. But I did get 3 small views of it (We passed the car, they passed ups, we passed them back).

Anyway, this was a forward facing seat. Not a very tall shell. The plastic part of the seat was bright white. It had a blue cover.

This is the very weird part...now it could be a "weird" seat...or a terrible install...

The back of the child restraint was not flush with the vehicle seat back. It was probably a good 5 inches gap between them. It looked like there was some sort of a plasic arm that was going downward from about mid height on the child restraint diagonally toward the vehicle seat bite.

Wow! somehow that thought never occured to me. There was no child in it. I wonder if they even buckle the child in the seat at all? Maybe it is a bad attempt at a booster seat.

That other link didn't work for me, i'm thinking this is the link she wanted to post. You can scroll through and see pictures of all shield seats that have been made and see if any looks familar to what you saw.

I am not sure what seat it is but I have seen them out and about near me. I don't think that it is a shield seat I think it is a REALLY REALLY old seat. I looked on the database and couldn't find what I have seen. Its a white shell, FF, superman blue cover, 5 point harness, it looks like there is a base of some sorts on it and it doesn't sit flush with the vehicle seat. I never can get a really good look at it because I have seen them in parking lots and I don't want anyone to think that I am breaking into peoples cars, lol.

Does that sound like the same seat?
