I'm meeting with my cousin at lunch tomorrow to teach her how to install her CA and new AOE (rf). I've got no experience with the newer AOE's. I know the old ones were a PITA. please tell me the newer ones are a bit easier. I tried to talk her out of buying it but she got a good deal (3 for $240). Is the manual available online? What do I need to know?

By new, do you mean the 50lb version? I'm pretty sure they didn't change much, so it's still a PITA...sorry!
What kind of car does she have? LATCH installations are not too bad, so try that if possible!
Good luck

The newest are the 65 pound versions. They have the same base, though, as the 50s.

If it doesn't have LATCH it may have either a locking shoulder belt, or a lap belt only. Shouldn't be too hard, just make sure that the buckle doesn't get caught under the lip of the base, and pull the shoulder portion or tail back through the belt path for better angling.
