IDK - i think its smart marketing on TFY part. It's the same seat - just different covers..... they can make a ton of money this way. Dorel has a million slightly different seats - but this seems like TFY is just putting new names/covers on the same seat.

I like the JJ Cole line looks

Is the bundle me approved for their infant seat?

Yes it is...I emailed them a couple weeks ago and the rep said yes that all J.j. cole products will be compatible with their car seat (and that it will be in the manual)...They also stated that its in the first years manual as well but I can't find the manual online to look

"notice the coordinating items at the bottom"

if you watch the video at 7 seconds you will see the bundle me in the car seat

That's why I ask I seen them down there. That's interesting. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I still don't think they're needed. I'd much rather use a blanket.

What about those really poofy jj cole harness covers? I don't like the idea of allowing all the extra stuff....

On the topic of their diff names...
Dorel makes big bucks and sells more seats than most of the competition by marketing their products under different names. They have "luxery" items that sell quite well to the general public because most people don't realize that dorel is eddie bauer..and maxi cosi..and a million other names..lol.
The first years makes a good quality product...as long as they keep their quality and limits on the seats reasonable, I think they'll be more respectable than dorel.

I would pay $200 for that seat. The Via is, by far, my favorite infant seat I have ever owned (and I have owned A LOT of seats). It is the "hidden secret" in seats. :D

They're now going to be carried by select Fry's stores as well. (My dad called me from the stock room and read me out all the seats they'll be carrying to get my opinion. :p) Definitely branching out!

I was thinking this, too. I won't buy a Dorel seat, I just can't bring myself to. I don't like the feel or the quality and they are still churning out some crappy seats (AOE...), IMO. I will buy a TFY seat, though, because I've seen them, used them, and they have much of what Dorel lacks.
