Using a non-SL LATCH strap with a SL RN?

What is the consensus on using a non-SL LATCH strap on SL Radians? I am having issues with seatbelt install where I want the seat, and my SL has a history of slipping. Child is 34lbs and in no danger of topping out any LATCH limits anytime soon.

I can call SK for permission, but IIRC, they don't have any more non-SL straps to send, right?

I do it. I use the LATCH strap from my RN80 (40 lb RF) on my XTSL. I'm comfortable with it because my kid is well under the cars LATCH limit (25lb kid and a 48lb LATCH limit) and I worry about him loosening the SL strap with his foot.

Thanks. I'm almost certain SK has okayed it -- they've distributed non-SL straps to upset SL owners -- but I wanted to check here and verify. Anyone else know what they have to say?

I don't have an problem with it at all as long as you stay under all the limits of each things involved. (Seat, strap, and vehicle)

When Lath first came out, you could buy just the strap to use on seat that hadn't come with one. Its just a glorified lapbelt.
