RA55 harness adjuster issue

Does your harness adjuster strap get pinched when the base is in the fully upright position? Mine won't budge.

I first had problems with mine about 6 months ago. I loosened the harness to adjust the straps for ff on a plane. They were all set to close the door, and I couldn't get the harness to tighten, no matter how hard I pulled. I frantically uninstalled it, and was relieved to find that it would slide freely once the seat was reclined.

I thought it was a fluke, but I was helping someone with his over the weekend and noticedthe same problem. I just brought mine inside again and am able to replicate the problem each time.

I thought I'd ask now that there are so many brand new RA55s scattered across the board. ;)

Yes. It is because the tail so to speak it routed over the little metal piece instead of under. It is hard to explain but I had the same problem with mine and it had got routed the wrong way when I was switching harness positions.

When it is routed the wrong way and it is in the upright position it pinches it so it will not loosen or tighten.
