New Turbo Booster Models don't have the screws?

I just called Graco to get some screws for the turbos that come in screwless. I was told by the customer service rep that the new models don't have screws.

Is this new news? All the ones that I have seen need screws.

Uh... I've yet to see a screwless model.

Intentionally screwless, anyway.

That doesn't sound right. I bought a turbo elite about a month ago and it had screws, the manufacture date is from this spring though.

Maybe the Graco rep meant the newest model that has been released yet. It's supposed to be out any day I think.

Maybe it will be the next model of the TB (rumor is 1st qtr of 2012). We just purchased a seat and it's 8/11 seat and it had screws.

The ones in Target all still had them last I checked (a couple months ago). I'm just glad they've started packaging the backless ones so they're assembled.

Were there holes for the screws? Somehow I doubt they would have changed to a screwless version and left the holes in the mold.

I bought one Monday made 7/11, and it had screws.
