I have NO idea how the recline bar is supposed to look when using the LBP, that i have to use with the recline bar, until i get the longer latch strap.

Does anyone have any pictures?

I have a 05 ody, He'll be in the captains chair, on the drivers side (behind me)

I also remember seeing the seat belt Had to be inside the recline bar, or is it outside of it?

My other question, is when you do the LBP, is the seat belt supposed to go OVER the harness in back, or under it?

Also, am i supposed to pull the seatbelt ALL the way out, to lock it, and then tighten it?

Sorry for the random questions! I'm just as confused as everyone else.. just need answers because of statement below that britax sent out:

"Until the longer LATCH connector is received with the product update kit, consumers are advised to use the long belt-routing method using either the vehicle lap-shoulder belt or vehicle lap-belt for enhanced performance."

Since i have to go out and 'enhance' his ride, while they send me his longer latch!

I don't think I can get a pic of it, my seats are too close together but here in a few when DH gets home I'll give it a shot.

The belt is supposed to go over the harness, stupid yes, but that's what it says.

Buckle the seatbelt then lock it and get all the slack out.

That's from before I first got the recline bar in all the way but you can get the basic idea.

Looks fine to me - lots of people told me mine needed to go up higher on the seat back back that was absolutely as high as I could get it while still having the Regent touching the seat back. I think it depends a lot on the seat of the car.

I'm pretty sure it needs to be higher. I tried taking pics of mine but there is so little room between the seats that you couldn't see it that great.

I got mine higher by putting the seat as upright as I could and pressing it back with my knees while routing the seatbelt, then with one knee I kneeled in the seat and the other I kept down to put pressure on the seat to keep it from moving while I tightened the seat...does that even make sense?!?! I'm sure it was quite a sight to see LOL!

That is exactly how my recline bar looks now in my Tahoe. The only other way to get it higher is the recline bar sitting on top of the lower anchor hooks. That I am not okay with metal to metal.

I'll see if I can get a picture of mine...not sure how well it will come out since its dark, but I'll let my neighbors get a good laugh at me out there taking pics of my car seats as midnight approaches(they're partying lol)
