Advice on which car

I am looking to purchase a new vehicle and I am looking at 2012 compacts. I have a 10 month old in a RF Graco MyRide 65 and I was wondering if anyone has a new compact like the Nissan Sentra, Honda Civic, Hyundai Accent or Elantra. I really would rather not take the car seat to all the dealerships while looking for a car. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I recently rented a new Sentra, it was tight in the backseat. I only tried our Marathon ffung though and my DDs knees were almost touching my seat

My MIL has a 2007 civic and the backseat is really big. We were able to fit a rear facing radian behind my husband, who is 6'0", with room to spare. And an adult fit comfortably in the backseat between our two carseats (2 radians).

Since you asked about compacts, I'll throw one out there. The Honda Insight.

I don't know about the My Ride, but I've had no issues rear facing a Recaro Signo or a EFTA. Well, actually, the Signo is best rear-facing behind the drive for visibility issues; I was still able to push the driver's seat all the way back.
I looked at getting a Sentra and found the Insight to have a more leg room, but it would not be good for a 3 across if that would ever be a concern. DS is currently riding in a Frontier and has enough leg room with my 6' ft tall DH in front of him.

I haven't test drove any of the other cars. They were on my list, but between price and gas mileage, I drive quite a bit, the Insight worked out best price wise for me. I 'save' over $150 a month in gas, which makes the car payment more affordable for me.

(Sorry, I'm still in love with my car after 7 months and 21,500 miles and want to share the love.)
