Just got off the phone w/ Chicco - Harness Slots

Okay so I decided to give Chicco a call - mighty fast response I might add.

Anyway the rep said that the seat is indenticle to the previous Keyfit model, harness height slots etc but was approved for a higher weight limit.

So it would seem most people would be better off saving the money and buying the 22... Good to know! Thanks for the info!

I just responded to the other thread. I measured the seat today and it is the same length as the 22lb model.

So its EXACTLY the same but has an approved higher weight limit? Thats kindof silly. It'll help the fat and short babies I'm sure, but its not going to be overall useful like the SS1.

After seeing the two side-by-side, I suspected the seats were identical, but I was hoping my eyes were deceiving me. Oh, well.

That seems strange and a bit unfortunate. My DS (will be one 8/16) still technically fits, he has plenty of headroom, and weighs 21 lbs. But he is somewhat squished on the sides, I can't really imagine a 30 lb (or 25) child in there with any amount of comfort.
