Sitting on the bench at the car wash today I noticed a young mom with 3 kids that were - I'm guessing - 2.5, 1.5 and about 6 months. Then another couple came with a 2.5 - 3 year old.
The 3 kids left before me. Mom dumped baby in the car seat (I hope), the other 2 climbed in ahead of her, and got in the car and left. She didn't take the time to buckle anyone in.
I left before the other family, but I had to look and there were 2 no back boosters in their car.
Right after that I drove to the grocery store and when I came out, I'm looking for my keys. Finally I remember that I put them in the cup holder for the car wash guy so they're still in there. Oops. I didn't lock my car AND I left the keys in it. Maybe I shouldn't be driving at all. (You push the button to start the Prius - no key needed. It should be in your purse, I guess, but I rarely carry one.)
