For those of you who suggested I change my Regent install...

I did my best! Here is the new install. I pushed it back as far as I possibly could. I reclined the seat first (as oxeye suggested), then un-reclined it, and I took the head rest off.

It is definitely rock solid! Is it still too far off the front part of the vehicle seat?

What about the recline...is it too reclined?

And here is a picture of the recline bar - best I could get. Scatterbunny said the recline bar might be too low.

Please excuse the potty in the background and mess on the floor.

I think that looks pretty good. The Madison is so much prettier in personal photos than it is in professional photos. Piper is going to want one so badly. Maybe I'll get it for her for a going to school present. LOL

Anyway, I think it looks great. I don't know about the recline bar, I'm not a Regent expert (yet) but I think it looks good. The recline itself looks awesome, and you have more than 80% of the seat bottom on the captain's chair, so that looks good as well.

Great! Thank you for your input! We are very pleased with the Regent (it's the first Britax I've ever owned!).

Well it definitely looks like it is in there tighter now - even though it is probably the same tightness. ;) With the recline bar sometimes you really just can't get the whole seat pushed back. That looks about as good as you'll be able to do. I have a little overhang with mine when I use the recline bar as well.

I think removing the headrest really helped you be able to push it back more.

The recline looks about the same as I have in my car. :)

Great job!

This is mine installed with LATCH -

Still a little overhang and my recline bar hits about the same place your does. People were telling me to try to get it higher but there was just no way.
