Snugride 32 vs snugride 35

Besides the obvious weight difference what else changed? I know the 32s aren't sold anymore. I have a friend, trusted friend, who has one she's parting with. I'll need a new infant insert. Can I use a 35 insert and harness covers? And does anyone know if graco allows the 35 harness to be used?

did they change the harness heights? I was thinking more in terms of overall dimensions and base compatibility. If they lowered the harness slots, then I suppose they're right that swapping covers wouldn't work.

The new Canadian models of the SR35 have some additional pieces at the foot of the seat for rebound control so that has the possibility of changing the cover fit. So, if the U.S. is getting the same seat, then I suppose there could be a possibility of the new covers not fitting older seats. But that would include not fitting older SR35's as well as the other models.

Will the US be getting rebound control?

I have no idea. I only meant that *if* Graco starts selling the same seat in the U.S., then it will be a slightly different shaped shell. I seem to recall that these pieces are actually screwed onto the seat, so it's possible that it's easy for Graco to make the one shell for the U.S. and then add on these pieces to the Canadian shells.

A pic of the additional pieces http://www.car-seat.org/showpost.php?p=2002133&postcount=34
