We currently have a harness system that uses a tether that buckles into the seat belt buckle, but our dog Pretzel has gotten good at getting out of that. I *think* it's due to the Gen3 buckles in our Chrysler T & C. She just stands on the buckle, and voila, she's unhooked.
She won't stay buckled for more than 30 seconds. Heck, if she stays in for 30 seconds, that's pretty good these days.
Does anyone know if the PetBuckle Kwik Connect Tether can be used on any harness system? If we could LATCH her in, that would be perfect, as long as she doesn't figure that one out. .
I'd hate to have to buy a new harness if I don't have to.
ETA: I'm also looking at the Doggie Catcher, it has a cover that is supposed to protect the release button.
TIA for any tips.
