Best booster next to a Radian?

I want to start booster training my DD for various reasons. She is turning 5 soon and has no problem sitting still in the car, listens very well. It wouldn't be her primary seat *for now* but I need it to sit right next to a FFing radian. I really like the look of the Monterey and was thinking about getting the new purple one (she is pretty skinny and I understand they redid them). Any ideas?

I had success with them puzzling together, but usually had to help with buckling. YMMV :)

Eta: that was next to a RF Radian. It would probably work ok next to a FFing one, though... How much space do you have?

I have a Honda CR-V, and I've found as long as I put a radian in the center I usually have plenty of room on either side. I have super long buckle stalks too.

I haven't had any luck with that combination in my '05 Civic (can't even get the door shut on it) but I can't get a Turbobooster in there either. I can squeeze in a Harmony youth booster (LBB) but can't buckle it. So far I haven't had any luck.

I'm going to try a Parkway SGL next.

Hopefully your CRV has a tad more space than my Civic.

I was thinking the turbo looked pretty slim...too bad it doesn't have latch :( I may just have to deal with it though!

We have an 03 trailblazer with a RF Radian center and a Recaro Vivo outboard. Works great. We couldn't do a latchable booster (well, one with rigid latch) because of where the latches are set, it won't work for side by side installs. We had an oobr and loved it, but it wouldn't work.

Safety 1st Boost Air works well next to a Radian in an older Highlander, the flip up armrests make it work well, and the back of the booster base is way narrow, but it's still a deep comfy seat. And light, so if you forget to buckle it in when it's unoccupied, it's unlikely to cause damage to anyone near it ;)

thanks I will check both of those out! I don't think a rigid latch would work for ours either because we need the extra space to cheat seats over to the side a little bit. Which sucks because the Oobr does look really awesome :(

I wish I would have opened this yesterday I had a Monterey and a Radian in my car. The Radian was rf and the Monterey fit nicely next to it.

If the Turbo doesn't fit, I'm not sure a PKWY will due to it's shape. :( I had a RN center and the Turbo was doable but a huge pain. The PKWY was impossible. No reason not to try in your car though, you never know.

Yeah, I know the pkwy is a long shot, but for $60 on Wayfair yesterday I couldn't resist the temptation to try it.
