CCO love -- made the shopping trip MUCH easier!

So I had to take all three kids to WalMart today by myself...something I try to avoid if at all possible these days. Luckily I managed to snag one of the carts that has the section for the two big boys to ride in, but that left me in a quandry as to what to do with DD1, since those carts don't have the typical seat for the kids to sit in on the front of the cart. And of course, she fell asleep 5 mins before we pulled into the parking lot!

So I just took CCO and all out of the van and sat it in the bucket of the cart! I sat it down in there with the back of it facing where you would usually push the cart, and put the LATCH top tether over the handle and buckled it onto one of the cart rungs to keep the CCO from over-reclining -- and proceeded to shop with a sleeping DD!

Thankfully I didn't have much to get, as the CCO took up the majority of the cart, but it was oh-so-worth-it to not have to wake her up. Re-installation into the van went off without a hitch too, didn't have to take her out like I expected I'd have to.

Now that I'm home, definitely wishing I would have taken pics...I did get quite a few looks lol, but that happens any time I take all 3 kids somewhere myself when I'm so obviously pregnant.

I used to do this with my granddaughter in the old Fisher Price Safe Embrace, at home and even sometimes in a store, like you did. She would keep sleeping in the seat but if I tried to get her out, she would wake up and be furious!

Glad you were able to make things easier on yourself! I'm all for that!

LOL...I think I would have had to do a double take at a Radian in a shopping cart too...bet THAT was heavy to get in/out of the cart!!

How convenient! Were you able to install while sleeping?

Yep :) It went right back into the Sienna like a dream!

While working in Canada, there was a lady who would bring her daughter in in her car seat, a cosco 3 in 1. One of the last times I was at our Walmart back home, there was another lady, with the same thing.

I saw someone at work one day that had a 9 month old (I asked) sleeping in a Scenera in a cart. I said something about that being fun to install rf with the child in it and they said he was ff. I think I said something about him being too young but I can't remember.

I saw someone carrying (carrying, not in the cart) a kid in a Marathon through Target the other day.

I have done the same thing with my CCO. I  it!
