Cause I'm feeling pretty stupid right now. Either my car has really short belts or I'm doing something wrong.

Are you looking for the European routing method? Or the "short belt path", for lack of a better term? You don't need to do the European routing.

European is a definite no go. I found some pics of the short path but then I can't get the lock off on. Can I just use a regular locking clip?

Are you putting the lockoff only on the shoulder belt? That's how that one works.

Also, do you need a locking clip/lockoff?

Ok, now you've lost me. The seatbelts are emergency locking only so I have either been using the lock offs on my blvd or a locking clip for the avenue.

The lockoff is attached to the shoulder belt only, not both the lap and shoulder belt. Directions are on pages 60-61 of the manual, found online at http://www.combiusa.com/Content/Uploads/combi/Manuals/Coccoro-Model8220-English.pdf

Yep, it just goes on the shoulder belt. I struggled and struggled with it in 100+ degree heat until I realized I wasn't supposed to put both the lap AND shoulder belt through!

I found the picture a bit confusing, though.
