Charlie- 6y3m, ~52 pounds, booster or harness
Sammy- 2y11m, ~37 pounds, ff

Seats- Oobr, TB, monarch, true fit, gn, fr85, signo g2, mr65, xtsl

Cars- 2010 Mazda cx9 (main), 2010 Mazda 5, 2007 Subaru outback, 2001 Nissan altima 4d (tt, no la)

Charlie can be in any booster, the gn, the fr85, and *barely* the radian. He might fit in the true fit but I'm not even willing to consider that for him. Sammy can be in anything except, obviously, the boosters. Would prefer Charlie in a harness in the Subaru due to how hard it is to buckle a booster. I'm hardcore on the fence of harness v booster safety wise. Also a harness in the altima, probably, due to ease of buckling and poor side impact ratings.

I can buy two more seats if necessary.

Currently-
Gn and mr in cx9, monarch and fr85 in Mazda 5, radian and signo in Subaru, nothing in altima.

I love the prosports and so want two of them for my own squishy happiness, but a fr85 would last way longer if I were to want harneses for both of them. I'd prefer GNs but not with the FYB. Is the FR85 with the boat bumpers overkill for a car with crap crash ratings? Also, need something a bit more low profile in the Subaru due to the small backseat.

Buy me something.

If you can fit a SICT I don't see why not. I'm hard core there is no such thing as overkill. :)

I too, like our Prosports but someday will have to get the Frontier85 SICT (yep) for the height. My newish 5-year-old has room in the Prosport but only an inch.

I'm also on the fence of booster vs. harness for older kids. On my kid's 8th birthday I'll probably booster. But I'll read any research that comes out. There's just not enough. So I think I'm perfectly fine harnessing 6 and 7.

Charlie might not fit in a prosport. My 7yo had outgrown it in harness and booster mode and she was even with the top slots in the fr80. I would get him a fr85 and the lil guy a prosport :)
