Did we know... (new MR65 harness cover rule)

That the harness covers on, for example, the new Resa cover can only be used rear facing?

My Alma and Spiral cover said they could not be used after 40lbs, but this rule about RF only is new to me.

Am I out of the loop? (probably I am

Yeah...totally stupid. Especially when it states limits of the seat on the strap covers.
I believe there was a recent thread about it. My daughter as a looong time to go RFing so for me it probably doesn't matter.

Has anyone called Graco? Is this one of those instances where they forgot to put them on when testing the seat?

I saw that in the manual when I have helped 2 mama's with them in the last 3 weeks... I think it is stupid too, just dunno why they would say that!
