I'm travelling internationally tommorow From the Middle east to canada with a short stop in London England. I can't use the carseat on the plane as the Doha to London Heathrow isn't an FAA flight.
I am really thinking about checking the AOE as luggage instead of dealing with carrying the seat through Heathrow (if you've never done it you won't understand the walking distance) Also I am traveling with my father who may need a wheel chair so I want to be realitively unencumbered if I have to push him. DD is 4 and is nearly 40lbs. My reason for the AOE is if it gets butchered by the airline I will replace it with a Radian, I am thinking of doing this anyway and donating the AOE to our carseat action group as DD will out grow the harness weight before the year is out and I wil NEVER use it as a booster, Plus it has 4 yrs left on it. At least with the Radian It will last DD for a long while and I *could* use it RF for the new baby in November as it seems to fit NB's well.
What do you think? Struggle with my sacred MA or greedly hope my AOE bites the dust?
