Do I need to replace the harness straps?

We were traveling last week when a sippy cup was left upside down in DD2's CCO. When I came out the next morning, it was absolutely drenched. (probably a cup of water)I put a blanket under her and drove to Target and got hand towels to put under her but even the top harness straps were drenched. They are slightly discolored now. The cover washed beautifully, but I'm unsure what to do about the harness. Do I need to replace or will a quick rinse/air dry be ok?

Right now she's in the marathon, which I do not love RFing in my car, so I'd like to get this taken care of soon.

From manual page 63: "If harness straps are frayed or heavily soiled they MUST be replaced".

I think from that I'd call them and see what they say. Sorry!

Anything other than water, I'd call but water is not going to hurt.

I Agree with the PP's, water wouldn't concern me at all in this situation...
