CA Harness loosing on it own??

I just got off the phone with my friend who has 2 CA's (on rf for C her 2yr old and one FF for J her 3 year old). She said yesterday when she got her boys out J's harness was super loose. She is pretty sure it was tight but chalked it up to the fact she might have forgot to double check it. I just got off the phone with her and today she looked back in C's mirror and he had his arms out of the harness. She knows she triple checked after yesterdays instance and now thinks the are not staying tight. I told her that even though they are out of warranty she should call Dorel but I would check here too. So Has anyone had this problem with the CA's? I am pretty sure she has the models with the bases if that matters.

Also just in case anyone is wondering J would still be RFing if he was not 40lbs :). He is actually jealous his brother gets to face backwards, LOL!!

Wasn't the complete air included in the recent dorel recall? She should call dorel and complain. If the seat is under recall, she will be sent some lube, which is the recall kit. Then, if the lube doesn't fix the problem, she should complain to nhtsa and dorel.

I didn't know if it was part of the recall or not so I didn't mention that to her. That would make since though.

She should also report the problem to nhtsa because safety 1st will not self report.
