3 across in 2005 Honda Accord

I was hoping maybe ya'll could help me out. I currently have my 5 year old in a Marathon and my (tiny) 2 year old in a RF Radian. Babe #3 is due in January. We are going back and forth on getting a bigger vehicle but new seats are cheaper and easier on the budget than a car payment so I wanted advice on the best combination for 3 seats across in our 2005 accord.

The 5 year old is going to need a new seat soon as her Marathon will expire soon. The 2 year old is going to stay put in his Radian. The new babe will need a new seat. DD (5) has a Nautilus in Grandma's car and she likes that seat but it seems wide as well to fit in a 3 across situation. I'm really interested in the new B-safe for the babe. Does anyone know if it would be possible to fit these seats 3 across? Or suggestions for seats that would fit across. I'm undecided on convertible vs infant seat for the new babe and would like to keep my 5 year old in a 5pt harness (she's about 39 lbs/40 inches.)

I would consider buying another Radian for the 5 year old, because the top harness slots on the Radian are the same as the Nautilus, but you get the narrow profile, and in a year when the baby is outgrowing the infant seat, you can put them RF in the then 6 y/o's Radian.

That gives you the option to get another harnessed seat for the oldest at that time, or decide to move him to a dedicated booster seat. If you get him a Nautilus now, your options are going to be a lot more limited because in a year you're going to have a Nautilus, Radian, and a 1 y/o who needs a seat.

I really like the Chicco Keyfit for 3 across - it's nice and narrow and it's short front to back and you can keep the handle up. If you do two Radians though, you can pretty much pick any infant seat you like. :)

Hope that helps, congrats on your upcoming new addition!
