Question does anyone have the peg perego primo viaggio convertible?

Any opinions on it for rear facing? I have a tall skinny 3 year old and a short, round 14 month old.
Does it seem well padded and comfortable? How does it rank among the other seats you have?
We may finally be reimbursed for the seats in our wreck and I am considering this as a possibility.

It's 45# RF. All their signs at ABC said 45#. http://carseatblog.com/13395/abc-ex...go-primo-viaggio-sip-convertible-viaggio-hbb/

The web site might still have info from way back when they were going to release it; since the original release was delayed.

Cool!! And yeah, I just read the comment thread on FB and they say 45 there too, and with a 1" from the top of the shell rule, but said they don't have measurements available for shell height yet. Neat!

Awesome about the 1" rule, I wonder if they changed that? I swear there was a dicussion in a thread about the RF height limit being only 35". Maybe that was just for the Canadian seats though. Or maybe it's change, or maybe I am remembering incorrectly! :p

You'll probably see it there, too (if you haven't already), but carseatblog is reporting that the rf height limit is a new change. :)

that is exciting! I was one of the people who contacted them asking for a higher rear facing limit and it's amazing to see that they listened to the feedback they were getting.

Really curious about the height. The 45 pound is amazing, but only if it's tall enough. Of course, bad timing for us since, after outgrowing her seat RF (not leaving another good option for us), I made the difficult decision to turn DD FF and already bought her a nice new FF seat. But I hope it helps others RF longer!

I think this seat is the current top contender for me. I have a list. I have eliminated the Pria70, the proride. I like the smart seat but the color choices are obnoxiously dull. I have a grey myride, no need for more grey.
I really didn't care for the radian, although I wish I had a good narrow option as well.
I can't wait for further reviews of the peg installed. :)
