Is there a safe way to keep the vehicle seat clean from rear facing shoes? Last winter I carried Titan to and from the car so it wasn't a big deal. This year he's a big boy and doesn't like to be carried. He's leaving footprints on the seat back and driving DH nuts.
I know that we can take his shoes off but it's already a day to day battle with DH to keep Titan rear facing. He knows it's safer but still hates it and wants him to turn around. So if I tell him that he has to take Titan's shoes off everytime, he's going to have a fit and want his seat turned around.
Please tell me there something that I can safely do to protect my seats. It's a 2006 Jeep Commander so non adjustable headrests. I've heard that I can put a thin towel down the back of the seat before installing Titan's seat. Is this safe?
