Man, I'm in tampa and if I didn't already have a playtex embrace I'd be all over that.

I was a certified lactation counselor(not the same as consultant by a long shot) and we were instructed to always stick with the "do not use a pre-owned breast pump" much the same way a parent is to be the last one to touch a carseat in a tech check situation. It's a liability issue.
I've bought several Avent isises(plural of isis?) on ebay and boiled them. I do think the PIS has a slightly higher risk of contamination, but it's so minute. . .if a used breastpump is the only way a woman can afford to pump and prolong her nursing relationship I have to believe that it's better from a pubilc health perspective to have her use one with that little risk than use breastmilk alternative.
