A MA70 seat came into our check today, and when we pulled back the cover to expose the RF belt path, we saw that the black EPP foam looked like it was disintegrating/crumbling - not just broken into pieces. Also when we pulled the cover back over the shell and the cover/elastic snapped back into place, a kind of dust came out of the cover fabric.
Has anyone ever seen this before? We instructed the parent to call Britax and report to NHTSA. I searched here and didn't see anything other than the "break and tape" type issues with the foam.
