X-Fit...even though DD won't be using a booster for a while

If I think I might want one, should I get it now? DD turned 4 in January, weighs around 30lbs, and still fits in ALL of our harnessed seats. But within the next year if she starts using a booster will I want one of these? If so, is it worth it to buy now JIC? Right not we have a Literider and an AMP (both were DSD) and a Vivo, none of which are being used. When the time comes I want a latchable booster...hey I'm lazy, I'll admit it. The X-Fit seems like it would work well for DD in the future. So, what would you do?

I really wanted one but didn't get one because it has to be buckled. There are lots of new boosters coming out, i'd wait.

Just remember that even when it's LATCHed, the X-Fix needs to be buckled in at all times.

Gah...why does it all have to be so difficult? I have a Vivo and she looks really good in it. Used it once to go down the street to my ma's to get our spare seats. It will probably expire before we get much use out of it. I'm sure in a year she will fit it nicely, but I really like the features of the X-Fit.

Since I don't even need one right now this is all hypothetical. But if you had to pick a booster for a skinny 5 yr old what would it be? She can learn to buckle it in eventually. No Turbos...can't stand it when the back falls off. And it would be for when grandma or aunt has to pick her up on short notice. I have to replace 2 wrecked seats on the insurance's dime, so I am contemplating getting a booster now and stashing it away. Plus I do transport a handful of friend's kids who use boosters now.

hey, the vivo is coming out with new colors, too... a new pink, a yellow, a PURPLE... I love the vivo.

besides, at JUST 30lbs, she doesn't meet the 33lb weight minimum of the cybex.

This would not be for use now by any means. She is 4.5 and has plenty of room in harnessed seats. But because I am replacing crashed seats and really don't even need new ones I was wondering if getting an X-Fit now for future use would be a good idea.
