Rear Facing Angle

I have a friend with a 2 year old (turned 2 in Sept) that just bought a Scenera as a back up seat and a travel seat. They are flying and taking taxis in December. Her husband has been practicing installing the seat and they'll be bringing pool noodle or tightly rolled & taped towel with them to help with installs. I did let her know that the seat doesn't have to be at a 45 degree angle so that should make things easier (they are having it installed too upright according to her) but she didn't quite understand when I told her that she needed less of a recline. They are going by the line on the side of the scenera. So, I need help phrasing putting the seat at a more upright angle. We are doing most of this through FB. ;)

Something along the lines of "You can install the Scenera a little more upright so your child is sitting more upright or not laying back so far. The line on the side is for a newborn angle and since your child is older he/she doesn't need to lay back as far."
That's how I explained it to my sister's friend a few weeks ago.
