Wow what a great way to get you to click their affiliate links. You go to the website based on their great price, find it's not in stock, then end up buying from Albee or ebay or BRU and they still end up with a commission.

Has anyone ever purchased something from nobetterdeal.com and received an item shipped directly from them?

I've bought a stroller and the charge on my card was from Genco Retail, and the box came with a NBD sticker on it - but it had the original packing slip from the person who bought it from Target.com in it lol.

Interesting operation in any case- even if you don't buy from them to have it shipped from their own warehouse, they may still get a commission from their competitors.

Would you buy a comforter that said "damaged box?" I'm assuming the comforter would still be in good shape???

um, yeah. I buy damaged box car seats, so I'd have no problem with a comforter. :eek: I'd think that if the actual comforter was damaged, it would say, "As-is". :twocents:

I bought a SR35 from them a month ago. It was sold "as is" It came, in it's original box with some slight damage to the box. The box had also been opened but the seat itself is still in the plastic, registration cards still attatched. It's in perfect shape, just a "damaged box" and "open box"

ETA: Mine came with a NBD (or several of them) sticker.

I've bought a Turbobooster and a high chair from them. The Turbobooster was an "open box." It was in perfect, totally new condition (I was even prepared to have to order new screws for it, but nope, the screws were included). I think the high chair was a "damaged box" item, if I remember correctly. I don't remember looking specifically for NBD stickers on the boxes, but I'm pretty sure they came directly from NBD.

I continue to stalk their website. I would definitely buy from them again if something came up for a good price that I needed. You do have to watch out on the prices, though. Sometimes they're really high. Once this year I saw an Apple Powerbook for something like $1349 (ok, I don't remember the price, but it was along those lines). I mean, yeah, the Powerbook sold for $2600 when it was new... SEVEN FREAKING YEARS AGO. It couldn't be worth much more than $150 now, though. I see enough awesome deals there, though, that they're worth watching. :) Although sometimes I really have to hold back when I've got something like a Britax Frontier in my cart which I have no use for. :p
