Why is it that when we are are talking about car seat max weights, it is stressed that that means the weight of the child fully clothed and in shoes.
But when we are talking about min weights for specific boosters, that tends to not be taken into account and the child's actual weight tends to be focused on?
For example, if we had a 40 lbs rfing seat, I would have to turn DD ffing as she is 38-39 lbs on the scale, but 40 lbs with fall clothes and shoes on now. But it seems I couldn't count that 40 lbs if I wanted to put her in a parkway booster.
(just an example as we don't have either of those seats and she is no where near the min or max on any of our seats) Just something I've picked up on from reading threads over time, and I've wondered about it, but never asked for clarification.
