What are the thoughts on the Graco Smart Seat??

I had it when it first came out but ended up returning it because I hated that the buckle style wasnt like the (old) mr, gn and ss1  Now that Graco has pretty much phased that style into the new (harder to buckle) style Im willing to look past that. ;)

I have a couple past threads about having to constantly take out and put back in seats for my 4 children because we only have one vehicle now and dh needs the space for work. The only seat I have right now for dd2 (almost 2, 26lbs, rfing) is the RA 50. Its been working great so far and I would like to keep that one at home for when we ride in other vehicles. Its so light and easily installed with latch that its perfect for swapping in and out!!

I was thinking of getting a Smart Seat for our one vehicle (Envoy) and keeping the base in there all the time. I could either ff the seat when were done with our ride or take it out and keep it right in our mud room by the drive way. Then I wouldnt have to worry if the RA50 is here or gone with dh as it would always be in the house ready to go.
ETA: I dont leave a rfing seat in the Envoy when dh has it because it gets uninstalled, knocked around and co-workers crazy recline their seats and bump it. Dh also needs the space vehicle width wise to lay items for work. With a ffing seat in there he can just lay the items across the seat and on the floor.

Does that sound nuts??? PLEASE help me think this through and give any thoughts on the Smart Seat. :)

For little babies, it just plain doesn't fit. For bigger kids, it pushes their heads forward a crazy amount. It is the ONLY seat my DD has ever asked to get out of.
