Hi!
I need help, I'm so overwhelmed! We have a baby who'll turn 1 yo in a week, who is still in her Graco Snugride, RF, and needs to get out of it as soon as we can get another car seat. We also have a 4 yo daughter in a Britax Marathon, FF.
We're debating whether we need to buy a convertible (Marathon or other) for the 1yo, or a combination (FF-booster) for the 4yo - and switch the baby to our Marathon.
Baby is 19lbs, almost 29''.
4yo is 38 lbs, almost 41''.
We own a 2009 Ford 150 SuperCrew Cab.
We were told in a store that we should switch the baby to our Marathon and get a Britax Frontier XT for our oldest daughter, since it will fit her all the way until she's ready to sit without a booster. We were just wondering if this seat is really the best choice, since it looks really big and tall.
Will a Frontier fit beside a Marathon? Or would 2 Marathon fit side by side? 4yo sits behind the passenger seat and the baby is in the middle (we like to keep a seat available for an extra passenger).
Thanks so much for any advice!
