I would love love  love a no re-thread harness. Maybe in the works for future models? With the angle adjuster I'll actually be able to put rf radians in the van in more than one location, but because of the difference in kiddos I'm going to have to be changing various harnesses throughout the week. No re-thread would be perfect. Thanks!

They said before it's 'not as strong' as single slots. Doesn't really seem like a valid argument since the Frontier goes to 85 though, does it

And if it wasn't so freakin hard to tighten the harness. I would love my Radian if it was easier to tighten. It sucks so bad.

This! I am having to replace my Radian with a different brand because my mother is unable to tighten the harness. She has some weakness in her arms.

I have to pull the harness on the back of the seat at the same time, and it is STILL super hard to tighten! Such a PITA!

The explaination I heard fromt hem put that in the context of it folding. They are fond of the fold; it's part of what makes their design unique. So they can't have the folding AND a no-rethread adjustment. That makes sense to me.

That does indeed make sense.

I can't tighten the harness easily at all so I always keep it one tightness (very tight).
I always have my kids in the same weight clothing for the season. It seems easier to tighten FF for us.

It does not work for multiple kids for me because Safestop needed for my 37 lb. kid but not the 46 lb. kid, anyway. (That's for the FF one in Nana's car).

I don't mind changing the harness slots, actually. I never thought I'd say that.
But yes, it means I can't put different RF kids in there and still have proper fit.

So they can't have the folding AND a no-rethread adjustment.

That makes sense to me, too, and the folding feature is a big plus for me because it means the car seat fits easily into my trunk. It's really really hard to fit a non-folding car seat in my trunk to make room for an extra teenager or something.

I would love a no-rethread harness, too, but I can understand why they don't have it.

My wife has the same complaint about the XTSL. So badly that she doesn't want to go with SK/Diono for seats for our 2nd daughter whom I'm shopping for seats right now for.

RF'ing it wasn't too bad as I could reach the back of the seat and pull out the slack. I agree, in her car, it's a total PITA to tighten the seat up. Unfortunately.
