I've only had our TF for a month so I haven't had as much time with it, but I would have a hard time choosing one over the other! I have always loved the MR and DD loves it too. My only complaint is the FFing install. The only complaint I have about the TF so far is the continuous harness, I'm just not a fan of seats with it. I love the anti-rebound bar on the TF (we have the premier)
The installs are equally easy on both, maybe slightly easier with the MR. I have not tried a FFing install with the TF yet though.
Oh, I do have one other complaint about the TF and that was the infant padding. I hated it! Luckily DS was already 2 months old when we bought the TF and it didn't take him long to get to the lowest harness slot without it.

I love them both for different reasons, at different stages.

I LOVE the TF for its lockoffs and continuous loop harness, as well as the removeable headrest. The infant padding is by far my favorite. Don't so much care for the extra-wide width making a 3 across almost impossible, or the low-ish RF'ing limit.

I LOVE the cupholders on the MyRide because my kids do (until they interfere with an install beside another seat), and love the tall base that allows the kids to see out well until I'm trying to load a heavy toddler who cant climb in by themselves yet. Also love the narrowness of the base and the higher RF'ing limit. Don't love so much the short-ish shell compared to the TrueFit.

Love them both for their super-easy installs in almost any vehicle....I can typically install either in less than a minute.

All in all, I love them both, am very glad I have them both, but I like them at different times of my children's lives and different install situations.

The MR is a great rfing seat- generally an easy install, seems to be one of the go-to rfing seats for tight spaces, and the kiddos love those cup holders. The MR is a perfect fit behind our passenger seat and has kept DD rfing past 3.5 to. I love the MR. :) However, I prefer the TF. It's cushy, roomy, lower-profile, taller (shell and top slots), has built-in lockoffs, and works well rfing or ffing. With the headrest off for littles, its a real space-saver, too. So far, the TF is my fav seat. :)

I like the MR better than the TF. The TF is a nice seat once it's installed. My only complaint about it once installed is that the harness straps are set wide apart, in my opinion too wide for really little kids. (They really looked like they were slipping off his shoulders.)

But I much, much, much prefer the RF install of the MR to the RF install of the TFP. With the TFP you have to use both lock-offs even if you have locking retractors and they can be hard to get closed and a pain with convenience buttons on the belt etc. (FWIW, I found the TFP FF install really easy and I haven't tried the MR FF, but I think of it as pretty much an RF-only seat.) So I guess it depends how you want to use it. :)

And my DS loves the MR cup holders.
