Info for Pedi?

My practice got a new pedi who's interested in ERFing information.

What stuff should I give him. I need good hard facts without too much biased. He's really interested in learning more. I don't want to overwhelm him because I'm sure he's busy.

ok thanks. I did tell him it was right on the AAP site now and he said he would check it out. I'm pretty sure he actually will but I figured that actual print outs might be even better. I'll print out stuff and take it in.

Great info thank you so much. I'm thrilled that he's interested in learning more.

He sounded shocked when I said I "knew" people with 3 and 4 year olds RFing. He was surprised that they liked it too (lol). He thought they would be bored. We chatted about it for a bit and he wanted info so that he could learn about it to RECOMMEND!!!! it to others.

Can ya tell I'm excited?!

Oh! I almost forgot -- AAA currently has a program in the works to give Peds "carseat Rx pads" + education enough to make sure parents have the right kind of carseat.... They said at my regional NHTSA conference that you could contact your local AAA to ask for contact information on getting your local Ped involved!

That is ssssooooo COOL. I have learned from experience that most of the peditricians in my area are not aware of extended rear facing. I am so happy to hear that the new pedi at your practice is & wants to learn more
