How long does it usually take to get a seat from Albeebaby.com?

I got a FPSVD from them about 6 months ago and it seems it took about a week. What has it taken lately? I need to order an Apex (actually Signature Biltmore :rolleyes: ).

I've ordered from then 3 times in the past 2 1/2 years and each time my order has shipped within a day and I've received it in around a week.

I ordered my MA not quite two weeks ago. I placed the order Saturday, it was shipped on Monday and I got it the next Monday (NJ to UT).

My SIL and I have ordered from them 3 times now... it took exactly one week every time. (The Rally Twin I ordered for her is supposed to arrive tomorrow :D )

I live less than an hour away from the store, so for me, the Apex was here in two days.

When I had to return my FPSVD (long story), I actually went to the store and heard the staff talking about orders they needed to fill, which gave me some insight on why orders are filled quickly, some more quickly than others:

It's an independent store, not a warehouse, so it seems like they fill all orders personally (not robots in a big factory). The same person who rings the cash register seems to process the cc orders from the website, and the same guy who schleps the car seats out from the stock room for customers in the store is probably the one who schleps it out for UPS to ship it to online customers.

It's a small store -- the entire store could probably fit into HALF the car seat department at a BRU (the sales area, not the back room). The staff is calling from one end of the store to the other about filling orders for specific customers (the Minnesota order, the Long Island order, etc.).

It's actually kinda neat! :love:

We've ordered 6 car seats from them in the past 3 months (3 separate orders) and all of them arrived in less than a week. The fastest was 4 days. I LOVE them:love:

I just ordered a MA on June 27th and according to the UPS tracking it's scheduled arrival date is July 6th. (I'm in UT) Can't wait! :love:

Thanks for the heads up! I actually really like the fact that I am helping to support a small "Mom & Pop" retail operation instead of a huge big-box corporate entity. I'll make sure that I do my part to support them by purchasing items from them, even if they're a tad bit more expensive than BRU or Target.

Quick shipping, but sucky customer servcice. I requested recent DOM but got sent seats that were 7 months and 11 months old and Frank refused to send me newer ones. I had to beg to get a discount.
