Height Britax Advocate 70 and Radian XTSL

I'm trying to figure out why the height restriction on the Advocate is 49" but on the Sunshine XTSL its 53" when the harnass heights and shell heights are basically the same. What gives? I'm trying to figure out what seats to get my triplets once they grow out of their SnugRide 30s. Britax looks more comfortable but XTSL will keep them rear facing longer. So, I want to know if the XTSL will really keep them forward facing that much longer...

The Advocate has a shorter shell and shorter top slots than the Radian. The Radian also allows the shoulders to go over the top slots.

But overall height doesn't matter.
