Agreed. It's not new. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJSVTFStsZg&feature=related"]Sunshine Kids RadianXT Crash Test - YouTube[/ame]

It is not the new Diono seat... no belt guides for the booster seat. False advertising (and, the chest clip is a little low for my liking).

Oh yeah, you're right, that cover doesn't look right, especially on the lower right hand side of the seat after the initial impact.

They don't even have the new seats pictured in the manual. What do you expect  it really annoys me they won't redo the manual.

The cover doesn't bother me. It reminds me of an early cover for the Radian called Desert. It was brown on brown. So it wouldn't surprise me if an early XT prototype used something similar.

I'm actually amused by the manual. Yes, some of the pictures are the white shelled blue seat (a VERY early model), but in the SL versions and the XTSL, when they talk about the SL or the headwings or the infant padding, or the weight limits, something specific to the seat, it's updated and shows the right pictures. Why reinvent the wheel and pay more to say the same thing? It's an economical choice to reuse what they can.

I have seen that video. Many, many moons ago.

Can they do that? Showing the crash test for an older model and claiming it is a new model (that has obvious changes in the shell and construction)

But I see nothing odd about the cover.
