..an Eddie Bauer XRS65. Complete with confusing manual. Bebe's mom bought one this weekend. Said she was going to install it yesterday, then got it out to her car and had no idea where to start. I didn't point out that the manual is in the back of the seat. They don't drive him during the week, I do, but I said I'd come by Sat morning to show her how to install correctly.

Does this warrant a call to Dorel?

If you can't read it, at the top it says to be sure the metal bar is over the harness. Then in the warning box below, it says the harness must be routed over the metal bar. Um...what?

I wanna play with it now, unfortunately, Bebe is sleeping...

I would call for sure. The manual contradicts itself on the same page. Way to go Dorel :rolleyes:. This might also warrant a complaint be filed with NHTSA. They should recall the manuals and send out new ones.

They've already "fixed" the manual. First thing I noticed was a sticker over the cover, as well as another over the FF requirements section. I'm pretty sure it has to do with weight limits, though. I was able to pull one off and noticed that there was a mistake in the weight conversion to kg.
