When did? Graco question...

When did Graco stop using blue shells/bases on the infant buckets? Someone told me that *ALL* Graco seats that are blue are expired... I wasn't so sure...

You can tell *most* other seats age by handle change or base change, but after the Graco base and handle changed in 2002/2003, is there any way to tell if a Graco seat is expired on quick glance?

:)

Not true, but getting closer.

I know for sure some of the 22 lb SRs were blue. The first 22 lb ones came out early 2005, and will expire by the end of the year. I'm not sure how long they kept using the blue.

You can say that all the 20 lb ones are expired. They were last made in late 2004.

When I was shopping for a travel system when pregnant with DD I was going to get a Graco Literider at Target - it was blue and came with a SR22 that was blue with a blue base as well (it was a Winnie the Pooh print that was blue and white) - I do remember looking at the box in November of 2007 when I was shopping for it and remembering the DOM on it being early 2007 - so there might still be some that aren't expired out there.

I never thought about this. Our Snugride had a blue base, and it expired last December (2010). I wonder if it was one of the last models.
