Tried out seats at Buy Buy Baby

We tried the keyfit, britax b-safe, and peg perego infant seats in the middle seat of my hubby's blazer today. NONE of them worked. I may be able to make the keyfit work, it was the closest, but it started raining again, and I would have had to move all my seats to try. They did not have a coccoro or shuttle to try. I will try at BRU next time I am in town.

The guy who was helping me out was awesome though :) He was very knowledgeable and patient. There is also a chance that the new style RF boot would work on a radian RF in the center, but I didnt get to try it. It will fit between the seatbelt posts, so I just have to try it next time.

What year Blazer? Is it the S10 or Trailblazer? 2 or 4 door?

It is a 97. Not an s10 or trailblazer, but resembles the s10. 4 door. Here is a link to my post about why the middle seatbelt is such a PITA. I am hoping I can avoid putting Lexi in the middle, in a Marathon, untethered.

I know there were certain years that Chevy prohibited center installs in the Blazer. I'm sure a tech will chime in if that applies to your model year.

My compass infant seat has a base that looks like it might work in your car. Unfortunately it's no longer made, but the current version is the Lamaze/First Years Via. They have changed a lot, but nonetheless it might be worth a try.

The Flex Lock works in a Blazer. Not sure how it would puzzle with your other seats, but it does fit down between the buckles once the recline foot is extended.

It was originally not allowed, but they changed it to allow if you can get a good install and not interfere with buckles.

Thanks, I will try those both at BRU as soon as I can.
