RF'ing seats touching front vehicle seat

If you could please help me find which carseats (rear-facing) allow touching the front seat, or even bracing the front seat. This is assuming that there are no advanced airbags and the car manual permits. Tell me the seat and if it specifically stated in your manual, or how you found this info. :)

I was going through seat manuals and the LATCH manual last night trying to find this information for you. I couldn't find it anywhere. I'm bumping this to see if anyone else might know where to find it short of contacting the manufacturers.

I just read my MR manual and I didn't see anything saying bracing wasn't specifically allowed or prohibited. If it's not prohibited, how is that not the same as being allowed?

The Ford Freestyle manual says touching is ok & explains how to determine if it is messing with the advanced air bags.

It's like using center LATCH, or installing on the roof rack. ;) If it's not explicitly allowed, it's not allowed.

You do have to double check your car manual to make sure it is allowed but she's looking for documentation that the seat manufacturers allow it.

I'm just putting myself in the shoes of somebody who has never visited car-seat.org but has actually read their car and car seat manual. If neither prohibited it, why would I second guess my driver's seat touching the car seat? I'm not trying to argue, just understand why it wouldn't be in the warnings section if it's so dangerous.

It's not in the Radian manual but it's something that is accepted around here. I never really thought about finding documentation until Kristen brought this up and i went digging. I came up empty.
