do I get another radian?

I have successfully gotten my 2 month DD and almost 4 yr DS to fit on the 60 part of my bench seat and be able to fold the other part for 3rd row access (KF outboard, radian FF middle). Yay!

Now I'm wondering what happens when DD outgrows the KF. I'd still really like to keep them next to each other if possible for 3rd row access. Do you think a RF radian would fit next to the FF radian? Car is 2011 Ford Flex. If so, am I better off getting one now instead of paying extra for the new seat with the booster feature I'm not likely to use? I could potentially have DS use it in my mom's car for now. He doesnt ride there often anymore, but he's almost outgrown her other seat. Now if they won't fit, then it doesn't matter since I'll have plenty of options. I also don't know if I can get a good RF install, guess I could go out and play with the one I have...

One more question - is there another narrow seat out there that might fit RF until DS is ready for a booster? DD is currently on the small side, but we wouldn't need it yet.

Thanks!

What about passint the radian down to the baby and buying like an Evenflo meastro for the oldest? Its narrow has higher top slots only harnesses to 50lbs(I dont know how much your son weighs) but should get him to an appropriate booster age.

He's currently using a maestro in DH's car, but I can't get a good install in the center of my car. The seat has plastic things on the sides that make some installs funky.

uf you don't like the install with the maestro in that spot then i would get a radian, if you see a good sale jump on it

New question- can I put xtsl covers on the 65 or 80? Do I really need another xtsl (what I have for ds)?
