booster in wobbly center or more solid outboard?

My first dealing with a booster! Opinions from people with boosters in the center, please!

Cosco Pronto Belt-Positioning Booster in center that is a bit wobbly (and not totally flush with seat bottom) due to the vehicle seat, or outboard and more solid? It's just not a perfect solid fit like you could expect (well, more so) outboard. Either way, it's not a latched seat so I don't think it would be SOLID. It's up against a Scenera FF.

Mother (she's a friend) wants booster center and I agree it's safest.

Child is 5 and that's the position he is used to. He had an (expired) backless before. (And there is also no vehicle headrest in the center.)

The Graco Turbo and the Evenflo Big Kid don't require head support but Dorel boosters do. She needs to try a different seating position or a different booster.

Well, I wouldn't leave a poorly installed RF or FF seat in the center over a solid outboard install, so the same goes for a booster. If it's more stable outboard (and has the proper head support), then it goes outboard.:)

OK, then we are moving it outboard.
And putting the daughter in the center.

That ought to take care of the problem.
The center seat will be a FF Scenera.


UPDATE: We're getting a Turbo Booster. :)


Just so there are more options.
