What is the lifespan of a radian?

I know it's more than 6 years, is it 7 or 8? I got our first radian in June 2007 and it was manufactured in March of that year. Next spring it will be 5 years old, will it have 2 years left or 3?

The original ones- 2005 and 2006 maybe- had 6 year lifespans in the manual. Then late 2006, I think it switched to 7 years in the manual. Not sure when it switched to 8 years according to the manual, but now they are 8 years. I believe that the lifespan on most of them were brought up to 8 years retroactive, but some of the oldest ones might be stuck with the 7 year.
